Marchesa Spring 2018 Ready-To-Wear | NYFW

Marchesa has always been extraordinary with creating beautiful feminine dresses using technical fabric manipulation and undeniably stunning colours.  I love that I can almost feel the textures of each piece just by looking at a picture.

Philipp Plein Spring 2018 Ready-To-Wear | NYFW

"Good Gone Bad"  Philipp Plein took our favourite Disney princesses and gave them modern edge.  Taking some classic Disney graphic tees and presenting them to an older audience as approachable everyday wear.  I like the influence of different periods.  From crinoline skirts to childhood memories and modern fit and flare.  Plein gave what would have been a casual outfit, a more 3D enhancement that continues to keep the beautiful feminine silhouette.

Richard Malone Spring 2018 Ready-To-Wear | LFW

From the hairstyles to colour hues, I'm really feeling he 60's influence in Malone's collection.  The outfits feel cool, light, and eye catching.  I love how the blue stripes are a staple in every outfit.  They are very vibrant but never overthrowing.  Malone manipulated the fabrics and played with patterns with grace, elegance, and freshness.

Marc Jacobs Spring 2018 Ready-To-Wear | NYFW

I've never thought much of Marc Jacobs besides it being a high end makeup brand.  That's why I wasn't sure I would love this collection as much as I do.  The one thought that pops into my head is that some of the models look like walking replications of the Marc Jacobs Daisy perfume line.  The black accents with the vibrant spring colours makes for the perfect feminine bad-ass.  The cherry on top are the bags because as boss women we have places to go and people to see.

Cushnie et Ochs Spring 2018 Ready-To-Wear | NYFW

What peeked my interest in this collection was my first glimps at those floral appliqué thigh high boots.  They are clearly the eye candy on the outfit.  The second thing I like about this collection is the orange.  I've been loving wearing yellow as of late, so maybe I should try my hand at orange.  It's the perfect accent colour and quite citrusy to look at.  You can taste the colour from a mile away.

Cinq-À-Sept Spring 2018 Ready-To-Wear | NYFW

Sweaters over dresses: That's what I figure I will be wearing this fall.  Blues are also my favourite colour so that was a bias pick on my behalf :) And once again we have the low ruffles on the dresses. Super fun, full of texture, and looks comfy!

Beaufille Spring 2018 Ready-To-Wear | NYFW

In my most recent outfit post I confess my love for flared jeans.  Perchance I have found a new love for flared trousers.  The other element that caught my eyes were the sleeves.  For me, sleeves are an art form in and of its self.  I love discovering the funky ways designers play around with their silhouettes.  Good ol' pirate chic.
